My Week……

I am so excited about this week. Well I was until I woke up to this little guy screaming in pain :o(

So we headed off to the doctor this morning to be told that it looks like a virus that has been going around. This unfortunately means there isn’t much we can do for him but pray for him, give him some panadol and wait it out. He is all tuckered out at the moment (he fell asleep on our theatre room floor) so after moving him into our bed I thought I might steal some time for me, ignore the housework for a few minutes and fill you in on all the sewing I have been doing this week.

I have started creating products for my newest journey,Two Princes Logo

after being encourage by family and friends, I decided to sell some of the goodies that I make so inspired by own Two Princes and the lack of handmade goodies for boys I whipped up a few items and popped them on a facebook page I made and thought I would share them with you as well :o)

Introducing………

I have just created a facebook page for my newest journey

Two Princes Logo

I can't wait to share some of my lovingly handmade goodies over the next few days. With the abundance of pretty things out there for girls I felt the boys were being left out and am aiming to even it up a little bit.

Watch this space over the next couple of days as I share the start of my journey with you.

{The Day After Sunday}

Linking up with Stacey over at Blogs Tea & Me who says

“The weekend, to me, is the most blissful of times.
Where all who matter most are gathered under one roof.
Where, if it's the way of your heart, you worship the one true God.
And where, most lovely of all, memories are made & love is shared!”

This weekend has been a big one for us with this little man

turning 5 yesterday. So Saturday we had a Toy Story party for him, you can check it out here and after his party we had a dinner for this guy

My amazing husband, who’s birthday was on Friday

After 2 parties on Saturday we absolutely love having a family day on Sunday. After church we came home and spent the day playing with new toys and games. We had a visit from one of Michael’s friends and then did a little gardening before dinner. A wonderfully quiet day after a noisy, exciting and sugar filled day on Saturday.

Thank you to everyone who join us to celebrate Michael and Louis’ birthdays.

I also had a very long chat with my wonderful husband and came to a decision yesterday that is both exciting and nerve wracking, but will share more about that in a couple of days.

My little man is 5!!!

I haven’t had much time to blog this week because today is Prince Michael’s birthday and he is 5!!! Yesterday we had a birthday party for him so here is his day is photos :o)

Birthday gift #3

So this one is for a 1st Birthday. When I thought of it I had no idea how long it would take. I spent all day yesterday on it and didn’t get to be until 3:30AM this morning getting it finished.

The travelling car mat

Complete with Police station

School and neighbourhood

Petrol station

IMG_3131

Fire Station

IMG_3132

Airport

IMG_3133

Garage to hold the cars while on the move

and best of all it rolls up so you can take it with you wherever you go.

IMG_3135

I think I put waaaaaaay too much thought into where everything was going to go. ie Police station at the entrance to town to discourage hooligans, Fire station near the petrol station just in case….. School and shops near the houses which of course had to have an amazing view of the beach.

I hope the little guy and he parents enjoy this and get to use it for many years to come.

Happy Birthday Brendon!!!
